DIAMOND BACK RATTLE SNAKE!!!

Alright. So today My dad and tanner were playing football in the back yard while I was watering my vegetable garden when they throw it over the fence...big surprise there!! So tanner goes to hop over the fence when luckily my dad decides to go with him which he never does. And right as tanner goes to jump my daddy grabbes him and says STOP!!! There's a huge diamond back right there so I brought up a table thing to stand on to look at it While my dad went to get his shovel and ax. He was going to shoot it with his shot gun but all the neighbors would have called the cops on him so he didn't. While he was filming it, before he jumped over, it jumped at us then slithered away. My dad wanted to kill it but he didn't want to take the chance of going in to all those big weeds and not know where it was. So we left it alone for now and we are hoping that it will go back into the desert. It was like 4 feet long and probably 4 and a half inches around.......it was rather stubby.
